There have been some incredible miraculous escapes. We have 1 vineyard church in Christchurch - our biggest NZ Vineyard - about 3000 people. Dave & Lis MacGregor are the Senior pastors. Dave's PA was parking her car in the Grace Vineyard carpark when the earthquake hit. A concrete "tilt-slab" wall (weighing several tonnes) fell on her car with her in it. Her car was crushed to "knee height." At the highest point the wall was maybe 4 feet high, and the other end was ground level. Her husband found the crushed car minutes later. He managed to get a forklift driver from nearby to lift the wall enough to crawl under and heard Esla talking to God! He managed to get her out of the car as there was no way emergency services could get there. It took 4 hours to get her from car to hospital. Well, miraculously, she is now home with her husband and well on the way to recovery. (Her story made it to national news and the pictures are just incredible.
